On 03/18/2025, Delay-o Academy met its untimely demise—not due to a lack of innovation, but because someone decided our satire was too convincing. The official reason? The site was “too similar” to the real Del Lago Academy website. Which, if you think about it, is a compliment.
We were given the option to change the colors and logo to make it more “distinct,” but let’s be honest—Delay-o was built on authenticity (or at least, a hand-drawn version of it). Rather than watering down the vision, we decided to shut it down entirely.
The website will remain up, but in a much more barebones form—nothing but a white page with this article and some links. If you want to revisit the original Delay-o Academy, the Wayback Machine has got your back. Otherwise, you can check out Haorui Web for future projects.
Delay-o Academy may be gone, but its spirit lives on.
